Description
We have partnered with Nardos Coffee, a 3rd generation, family-run coffee exporter headed by Biniyam Aklilu, for this years Ethiopian coffee.
Nardos Coffee dates back to the 1960s, when Biniyam's great-grandfather started producing coffee in Guji and his grandfather established the region's first privately-run washing station. In 1998, Biniyam's father launched a coffee export business. Through three generations of diligence, the Nardos family have forged an incredible legacy within the history of Ethiopian coffee.
We've chosen a Grade 1 washed coffee from the Sakicha Washing Station, which yields an impeccable flavour with citrusy lemon and sweet cantaloupe notes, finished off with a light honey finish. A go to for any filter brew or a sparkling espresso
It is thanks to your taste for rare specialty coffee that these farmers can make a significant increase on their ordinary earnings, which enables them to develop their land further.
Enjoy!
