This naturally processed coffee comes from a group of about 175 coffee-farming families in Tolmina. Since 2019, our partner Cofinet has been working with them to improve their natural processing techniques. Now, most of these farmers process at least 80% of their coffee this way, and it really shows in the quality.
Tolima is a fantastic region for coffee, with its high mountains and volcanic soil creating ideal growing conditions. It’s one of Colombia’s top coffee-producing areas and is regularly featured in the Cup of Excellence, organized by the Colombian Coffee Federation.
The coffee cherries are dried on raised beds or concrete patios, where our quality team keeps a close eye to make sure they dry evenly and reach the ideal moisture level of 11%. The result? A coffee we’re proud to share with you.
