Ga dieper in op de variëteit aan manieren om filter koffie te zetten en duik in de wereld van de variabelen waarmee je de extractie beïnvloedt. Je leert geëxtraheerde koffie te analyseren, ook middels een refractometer. Deze 2-daagse training is voor de gevorderde koffie enthousiasteling.

Ervaring in een professionele koffie setting is handig maar geen must. De modules SCA - Introduction to Coffee en SCA - Brewing Foundation zijn een aanbevolen, maar niet verplichte vooropleiding. Het certificaat Brewing Intermediate is vereist voor het mogen doen van het SCA - Brewing Professional examen.

DUUR - Training: 2 dagen van 7 uur (van 10.00 tot 17.00) / Examen: 1,5 uur

Further explore the variety of methods for brewing coffee and the brewing variables that affect quality. Brewing Intermediate provides hands-on learning with equipment, grind-profiles and parameters. You’ll learn how to analyse brewed coffee, scientifically measure coffee strength and chart extraction, using a digital refractometer. This course is for someone interested in a more in-depth, scientific approach to brewing.

The Intermediate level is suitable if you are already part of the industry, working in the field covered by the module, and have a firm knowledge of the basic skills. Experience working in the field is recommended for this level. The modules SCA - Introduction to Coffee and SCA - Brewing Foundation are recommended but not required. You will need to pass the SCA - Brewing Intermediate exam prior to doing the SCA - Brewing Professional exam.

DURATION - Training: 2 days of 7 hours (from 10.00 to 17.00) / Exam: 1,5 hours

EXAM – Written online and practical during the course

LANGUAGE - The training will be held in English.
