Los Tulipanes is a specialty single origin coffee from the highlands of Cajamarca, Peru — a collaborative lot representing the dedication of smallholder farmers working at exceptional altitudes between 1,700 and 1,960 meters above sea level.

This coffee brings together multiple farms across the communities of San Ramón, La Cascarilla, and Sector El Campo. The producers cultivate traditional varieties — Caturra, Bourbon, Typica, and Catuai — that have proven well-adapted to this high-altitude terroir. The result is a clean, sweet cup with bright acidity and floral complexity that reflects the unique character of Peru's northern highlands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is altitude important for coffee?
Higher altitude means cooler temperatures and slower cherry maturation. This develops more complex sugars and acids — resulting in a sweeter, more flavourful cup.

What does "community lot" mean?
Los Tulipanes combines harvests from multiple smallholder farmers in the same region, creating a representative taste of Cajamarca's best.
