Summer Camp includes the following: 

SCA Introduction to Coffee, SCA Foundation Barista Skills and SCA Intermediate Barista Skills. 

The perfect way to fast track your coffee education! 

What you’ll learn

• Understand coffee as a product from farm to cup
• How origin, processing and variety affect flavour
• Sensory skills for quality assessment 
• Set up and operate a professional espresso machine and grinder
• Understand the fundamentals of espresso 
• Advanced espresso extraction and grinder calibration
• Master milk steaming and latte art techniques (heart, tulip, rosetta)
• Drink construction and recipe development
• Bar workflow, hygiene, and maintenance routines

How long is the course?
3 full days, from 10:00 to 17:00.

Do I need prior experience to join this barista course?
No prior experience is required. 

What is included in the course price?
Coffee, use of all professional equipment and facilities, plus a light lunch are included.

Do I receive an SCA certificate?
A written online exam is available for each level. On passing, you receive an official SCA certificate. If you decide to opt for the certification, SCA fees apply! 

€25- Introduction to Coffee, €50- Foundation Barista Skills, €50- Intermediate Barista Skills). This is paid directly to SCA when registering via their website.
